Helpful Hint Clipping #1

Have you ever wanted to go out somewhere after preparing a meal and felt that you were going to offend other people or yourself? Here is how to get the smell of fish, garlic, or onions, out. This article was clipped from the Milwaukee Journal - not sure the year-but it is back when it was just called "The Journal." It was written by Tom Sietsema. He suggests soaking dish rags in warm soapy water with baking soda and a little vinegar (sounds like a science experiment to me!). If your hands are smelly from chopping something, rub them with lemon juice or vinegar. I guess you have to weigh whether you want to smell like the item, or vinegar. Stay tuned! I am going to make seafood this week, and will try out this hint.
